Program Mission Statement: The mission of MHCA-RI is to provide peer support, to inform and educate mental health consumers and non-consumers alike in order to eliminate the barriers to progress of recovery from mental illness so that meaningful change can take place. MHCA-RI seeks to empower its members both individually and collectively on issues impacting on their wellbeing and recovery. By speaking with a clear and unified voice, MHCA-RI can foster and encourage a sense of community, compassion and pride in the mental health community
