Program Goals: Our goal is to decrease the stigma and isolation of mental illness. We work to increase members' self-advocacy in their therapy, whether traditional medicine or personal medicine. We have opportunities for our members to take roles in volunteerism and leadership. We teach a variety of skills such as crocheting, life skills, cooking, housekeeping and office training.

Program Mission Statement: The mission of Wings upon the Prairie, Inc. is to serve past and present consumers in Northwest Kansas who suffer from Mental Illness by providing companionship, socialization, information and transportation. With community cooperation, the individual will have the freedom to develop positive self-esteem, which will help in the recovery process.
