Program Mission Statement: We consist of individuals and teams within a self-directed group interested in all categories of mental health involving ourselves in the interest of self-help support groups throughout Georgia. We promote wellness, recovery, independence and self sufficiency. Self-help is our primary objective and sponsoring/hosting special projects is our aim. We set goal-oriented initiatives in the mental health system and community addressing any issues pertaining to growth and transformation within today's society of mental health matters. Our main focus is to work with other mental health facilities, forming a coalition or collaborative participation to better serve the public from self-help support groups to institutions. we are within Region 3 of Georgia, located in Decatur-Dekalb County and service this area.
Additional Information: Self directed consumer-survivor self-help support groups in Georgia aimed and directed towards wellness, recovery, self-sufficiency, independence and self-advocacy.
