Additional Information: We are never alone in our struggles. Through the mutuality of peer support, we can feel connected to our community AND empowered to discover inner-capability and strength. As advocates for self-determination who draw from personal experience with mental health challenges, we aim to inspire and support our peers (those individuals who identify with issues related to mental health and /or addictions/substance use). We strive to model success through our own achievements, resilience, and persistence, and offer resources, self-directed education, and a non-judgmental, open mind.
