Program Goals: Train 1,000,000 peer recovery support specialist by offering five tuition free scholarship programs for recovering addicts, alcoholics, mental health consumers, ex-offenders, active military, veterans and spouses along with rural communities and minority groups (including GLBT) identified by the US Department of Health and Human Services-Office of Minority Health for our online Recovery Coach training

Program Mission Statement: PARfessionals is “Reshaping the Faces of Recovery” as an approved continuing education provider, dedicated to offering quality and economical continuing education, peer support and networking opportunities for addiction professionals, mental health professionals, para-professionals and other service providers in the mental health and addictions fields.
Additional Information: In 2012, we decided to develop the first peer-based ONLINE recovery coach training program designed for those interested in mentoring individuals into and through long-term recovery from co-occurring disorders and other addictions and addictive behaviors. We have created the first known study guide for Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Addictions Recovery Coaches. We strive to promote courses that enhance and teach the highest ethical, and professional standards in the industry. PARfessionals offers a $99 online, 50-hour Peer Recovery Support Specialist/Addictions Recovery Coach training program, a $10 Lunch Break Series consisting of 15 CE courses as well as a $10 online, 6-hour Prevention Ethics course.
